Trims
You can choose from five trim levels:
- WT - This is the workhorse that Chevy offers you. It features 17-inch wheels, an eight-inch diagonal instrument cluster, Chevy Safety Assist, and an 11.3-inch infotainment display.
- LT - The trim combines capability and comfort. It adds features, such as keyless open and start and body-color front fascia and rear bumper, among others.
- Trail Boss - This is the best model for you if you want a Colorado that takes you far off the road. It has a standard 310-hp engine, factory-lifted suspension, four selectable drive modes, and 18-inch wheels.
- Z71 - Experience even more comfort features when driving off-road around DeRidder, LA with the Z71. It offers the same features as the Trail Boss but with more comfort features.
- ZR2 - This trim features a high-output engine that delivers up to 430 lb-ft of torque. It is designed to take you further off the road in Beaumont, LA than the other models.
Interior
While the new Colorado gets exciting performance and exterior features, the new interior features make it stand out more. There are significant upgrades with great enhancements that make this model stand out. For starters, you get a conjoined central touchscreen display and digital instrument cluster with simple controls for climate on the center stack. In upper trims, you will enjoy a woven dashboard texture, a significant upgrade from the plastic materials in older Colorado models.
The wheelbase was extended by three inches for the new model. This does not increase the legroom, but passengers will enjoy the same spacious cabin that the last model offered. The 2023 model will be the first to offer an optional sunroof.
The infotainment system brings you an 11.3-inch touchscreen display, which is the largest midsize truck segment. Other features include wireless smartphone charging, USB ports, and available Google built-in. You can also integrate your smartphone wirelessly through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Performance
The 2023 Chevy Colorado was engineered to deliver unrivaled performance on and off the road. It starts you off with a factory-lifted suspension system and a wider chassis, allowing it to offer the best off-road driving dynamics.
Under the hood, you will have a standard 2.7L inline four-cylinder engine that mates to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The engine delivers 237 hp and 259 lb-ft of torque and is standard in the WT and LT trims. A Turbocharged Plus version of the same engine delivers 310 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque and is standard in the Trail Boss and Z71 trims. A 310 hp turbocharged 2.7L engine producing 430 lb-ft of torque is also available. The engine is standard for the ZR2 top trim.
The transmission delivers a responsive performance combined with enough power to take you anywhere you want to go. You can choose up to five drive modes, depending on where you want to drive; Off-Road, Terrain, Baja, Tow/Haul, and Normal.
