Interior & Technology
The exciting Chevy Corvette is a work of art, and drivers will love the experience of cruising around Port Arthur, TX in this vehicle. There are two options for the convertible: a two-seater convertible or a coupe hard top convertible. Both are amazing options, and drivers will love the feel of the wind in their hair as they cruise around Beaumont, LA. The Corvette is sure to turn heads, and drivers will love the power and performance of this car.
Standard features on the Corvette include a rear-view camera, a Bose audio system, and a head-up display. The head-up display projects important information such as speed and RPMs onto the windshield so that you can keep your eyes on the road.
Optional features include a navigation system, a power-operated convertible roof, and a performance data recorder. The performance data recorder captures your driving data, including speed, RPMs, and G-forces, so that you can review your performance later.
Performance
Chevrolet is now manufacturing the Corvette with its engine, a powerful 6.2-liter V8, behind the passenger area. This setup has improved the weight distribution. This engine offers up to 490 horsepower and a whopping 470 pound-feet of torque performance power. Drivers may opt to add the Z51 performance package; if so, this package adds a dual-mode performance exhaust that ups the horsepower by five pound-feet. The optional Z51 package also adds an electronic limited-slip differential and lighter tires.
The exclusive transmission of the Chevy Corvette is an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic. Drivers may use a push-button gear selector, or they may use the shift paddles mounted to the steering wheel. However, a manual transmission is no longer available on the Chevy Corvette.
Safety Features
Driver assists are becoming increasingly popular in the automotive industry, and for good reason. They can help drivers avoid accidents and even save lives. The Chevrolet Corvette is no exception and offers a variety of driver assists as standard and optional features.
The standard safety features on the Corvette include a rear-view camera, a forward collision warning system, and a lane departure warning system. The forward collision warning system uses a camera mounted near the rear-view mirror to monitor the traffic in front of the car. If the car gets too close to the vehicle in front, the warning system will sound an alarm, and the car will automatically slow.
The lane departure warning system uses a camera mounted on the front of the car to monitor the lane markings on the road. If the car starts to drift out of its lane, the warning system will sound an alarm, and the car will automatically steer back into the lane.
